Yes we r hurt

Yes we all saw what happened in Mumbai,
Yes we all were hurting when we saw those scenes,
Yes we all cried when we saw Karkare, Salaskar and Kamate's funerals,
Yes we are all proud of our NSG, Marcos, Army and Navy,
Yes we all are proud of Mrs Karkare to refuse 1 Crore,
Yes we all feel high time India does something.

but yes after a week or 2 all this will take backseat and we will get busy in our lives, in our jobs,
So will the other terrorists, in and ourside India,
the corrupt politicians, who till 25th Nov 08 were defaming Karkare and doing other horrible things to India.

and after few days we will think " hmpf, I really wish it doesnt happen again, I really wish I could do something, but what?

and then after few months the history will repeat its cycle.

Isn't it?
OR
Will you do something different this time?

Mumbai Attacks

Of all the photographs of the attacks that we saw in last 3 days, I chose to put this here. This photograph speaks volumes to me. It gives me a hope that if some people are out there killing innocent people, there are also some people who hold the hand of needy and take them to safety.

I know it is this policeman's job but we all like to get appreciation for job that we did well. For me its a kind of lesson to do my bit. An obvious question that comes to mind is what difference can bunch of us make. Well if 10-12 terrorists can make such a big difference, I dont think there is a limit to the difference that we can make. And I think there is one LESSON that we need to learn from those terrorists. DETERMINATION. They had determination to kill people. We have to be determined to contribute to make India safe and then spread it to the whole world.

You might want to ask, well the attacks have happened, what can I do now? You know what will I do? I will take some food and my pocket money and share it with the injured. What you can/will/shall do is upto you to decide.

I had a lot to write. But I just saw the funerals of our cops who lost their lives fighting for us. I am all crying and will get back to writing later.
Please participate. Let us join hands to stand up for ourselves. Let us be more aware of security concerns and other concerns that India faces right now. Let us not keep blaming the government and the Police force. Let us do our bit first.

Hello India!

Dear Reader,
In the wake of recent Mumbai terror attacks, I am starting this blog, with a hope that this attack has shaken us all enough that we realise that we have to do something now.
This blog is not to throw blames on X country, or government or terrorists. This blog is for us to share our thoughts on what we can do to make world a better place. This blog will not entertain any offensive comments of any kind. Any reader tempted to promote his religion might have to look for another option. In this blog the only religion that we understand is humanity. We all are humans before anything else. I will start writing about my ideas as what I can do as an Indian to make things better. You can share your ideas too. I am sorry that I have to put all comments for approval first. This is just to keep the troubled minds away.
Last but not the least, every drop counts. Lets stand up for ourselves and do our bit. Lets just be good humans and we will definitely be good Indians.
Take care of yourself.
